V5. Advanced Planning with Life Insurance as an Asset Class
Bryan Schick, CPA, National Financial Partners

During this session, we will focus on why advisors may want to consider using life insurance as an asset class.  Along with the traditional uses of life insurance in estate planning (self-completing asset with liquidity at time of death, predictable premiums for funding, and income and estate tax free death benefits), life insurance offers competitive rates of return.  Furthermore, we will also examine efficient funding strategies that may allow this compelling asset class to be funded with minimal gift and estate tax exposure.
