Press Releases New Products and Conferences The AICPA announces major improvements to its online grading website for CPE self-study courses. The new enhancements include a modern new design, improved user interface, improved navigation, and simplified login process.
The changes are based on feedback from a survey of over 2,000 users of the online grading site and represent the first significant improvements since the original site launched in 2003. Although survey results reflected general satisfaction with the AICPA Online Grading site, user feedback pointed to many areas for improvement. Eighty-percent of all AICPA CPE exams are taken online by self-study users.
Robert Bouchard, Vice President, Publishing, Professional Education and Product Development, AICPA says “We’ve listened to our online self-study exam takers and pursued a modernization of the website user interface and its design. The upgraded website is now more engaging and energetic and in line with competitive best practices.”
Among the specific enhancements to the exam user experience are: improved navigation that lets the user know where they are in the exam; clearer direction on the ability to stop and start an unfinished exam at anytime with auto-save; a final review summary page that allows exam takers to see all their answers in a condensed, easy-to-scan format before exam submission; feedback on incorrect answers for follow up study upon successful completion of an exam.
AICPA CPE Online Grading is free and available for any AICPA self-study course in formats that include Text, DVD, and CD-ROM. A full list of CPE self-study offerings can be found at www.cpa2biz.com/CPE.
