CPAs, Attorneys Provide Insight on Marital Separation
May 8 – 9, 2008, Las Vegas

The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and The American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) announce the fourth National Conference on Divorce, May 8 - 9, 2008, in Las Vegas at Caesars Palace. The two-day conference features valuation of business and marital assets; concept of income and divorce; determining reasonable compensation and collaborative law as key issues in a fully rounded program on divorce accounting education. Well-known accounting and law specialists will share their expertise in the field to benefit CPAs in litigation and taxation, as well as key specialty areas.

The conference will feature keynote speakers, Ashok Abbott, associate professor of finance at West Virginia University; Jim Hitchner, managing director of The Financial Valuation Group and president of the Financial Consulting Group; and Roger Dodd, internationally known plaintiff's trial attorney, author, lecturer, consultant and expert on cross-examination techniques.

"We offer this conference every two years as a unique opportunity for AICPA members to be fully armed with the best perspectives from CPAs and attorneys who are experts in the trenches of divorce accounting issues and case studies," said Barry S. Sziklay, conference co-chairman.

The conference cost is $895 for AICPA and AAML members and $1095 for nonmembers. CPE credits include 17 for the main conferences, up to 14.5 for CLE credits and 3 for the optional workshops. View the conference brochure and register online at www.cpa2biz.com/conferences or call (888) 777-7077.
