One of the leading experts on network and Internet technologies, David Strom has written and spoken extensively on these topics around the world for almost 20 years. He’s appeared on Fox TV News, NPR’s Science radio program, ABC’s World News Tonight and CBS’ Up to the Minute broadcasts. David has held several editorial management positions for print and online properties in the IT, network, channel, electronics and gaming industries and helped launch vertical market electronics sites for power management and wireless communications engineers.
He started his own technology company in 1992, created Network Computing magazine and helped
launch a supplement for PC Week called Connectivity. He’s the author of Home Networking Survival Guide (McGraw Hill/Osborne, 2001) and co-author of Internet Messaging (Prentice Hall, 1998). David has a Masterof Science, Operations Research degree from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Sciencefrom Union College.
