AICPA Announces New Audit Committee Workshop

WHAT:

The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) announces a workshop entitled The Audit Committee’s Role in Risk Oversight: Taking a Strategic View of the Enterprise’. The AICPA has partnered with the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Initiative faculty at North Carolina State University to enable audit committee members, and those who work with audit committees, to effectively monitor and communicate risk. Attendees will learn about emerging expectations and developing practices for managing entity risk. This workshop provides an interactive setting for experts and attendees to share ideas, emerging trends and strategic planning to seize opportunities and improve performance.
