Victims of cyber attacks are often unprepared for the impact to their business environment. What to do in the event of an attack is equally important to what should not be done. Assessing the damage, discovering the weaknesses leading to the attack, and preventing future attacks is critically important to victims.
This session will discuss issues involving a response team, notification to law enforcement, investigation and containment, communication to employees and customers, and the cost of the attack. Civil and criminal implications will also be explored.
