Economic Damages/Individuals: Financial Forensic Accounting Series

This course will discuss typical services provided in damages assessments for  underpayment of wages and/or overtime, vacation, tips, meal and rest periods, breaks, etc.  You will learn methods
used to compute damages and issues that commonly arise for plaintiffs and defendants. Learning Objectives: Overview of cases involving alleged underpayment of wages and/or overtime, vacation, tips, meal and rest periods, breaks, etc..;  Learn what facts should be evaluated to determine if damages exist;  Know what issues commonly arise for plaintiffs and defendants (e.g., state-by-state variability, privacy concerns, etc.); Understand the methods that are used to compute damages.
