We live in a world of rapidly changing rules that can quickly threaten a company's existence. As a financial manager, you may be charged with the responsibilities of navigating your company through these risks. An effective leader needs well-balanced technical accounting skills, risk manager awareness, and strong leadership skills to be successful. This course combines these three critical skills to build a well-rounded base for the financial manager. This course starts with a quick update on SOX and IFRS and their impact on the Financial Manager. It compares and contrasts the financial manager's role between small entrepreneur shops and large corporate environments, addresses communication techniques that will work in any organization and with the most difficult personalities, and explores new ways to measure your company's success and help drive business decisions to desired results. It also discusses a unique approach to cash management as well as ways to find and secure funds, reviews current fraud trends and ways to minimize that risk, and uses numerous real-world examples and case studies.

Objectives:
- Understand the impact of Sarbanes Oxley and IFRS on their organization
- Clearly define their role in the organization
- Apply unique methods to communicate with Senior Management
