AICPA has partnered with the Enterprise Risk Management Initiative faculty at North Carolina State University to offer a two-day workshop: The Board and Audit Committee’s Role in Risk Oversight: Taking a Strategic View of the Enterprise to help board and audit committee members understand emerging expectations for greater risk oversight and develop effective audit committee practices for evaluating and monitoring techniques used to manage entity risks so that stakeholder value is protected and enhanced.
This high-level forum - limited to 60 participants - offers attendees an interactive setting for dialogue with leading experts on emerging trends related to the intersection of ERM and board and audit committee governance and strategic planning, in addition to providing an opportunity for the exchange of ideas among other individuals currently serving in board and audit committee roles.
In this critical time when risks are greater and fallout is substantial, this workshop is a must for those who deal with strategy and risk.
Who Should Attend
Board and audit committee members or other individuals who serve on boards of directors, as well as senior executives who frequently interact with boards and audit committees about risk management issues.
