Professional Ethics for CPAs in Business & Industry

This ethics “specialty” course uses multimedia and interactive case studies to provide an overview of the ethics standards that apply under the AICPA Code of Professional Conduct to CPAs in business and industry. An interactive ethics decision model guides the learner through factors to consider when applying the standards to thought-provoking case studies.

Objectives: 

• Understand AICPA principles of professional responsibility, the public interest, integrity, objectivity, independence, due care and competence and how AICPA standards apply to CPAs in business and industry
• Analyze matters using an ethical decision making model to determine an appropriate course of action
• Understand the consequences of violating ethical standards
