John F. Hudson, CPA

John F. Hudson, CPA is the President of Hudson Consulting Group, LLC. Prior to founding Hudson Consulting Group, LLC in 2002, John was one of the original founders of CPA2Biz, Inc., the exclusive marketing agent of the American Institute of CPAs. John has more than 25 years experience in the practice of public accounting, business strategy, product development and entrepreneurship.

Hudson Consulting Group, LLC, provides business & product strategy consulting services to CPA firms and organizations serving the CPA profession. Previously, John served in a number of senior capacities at CPA2Biz, Inc. including leading corporate strategy, managing a multi-million dollar business unit, and leading the organization's corporate marketing and communications efforts. Prior to CPA2Biz, John served as the Chief Knowledge Officer and in various senior business and technical roles at the AICPA. He also spent 15 years at KPMG, one of the nation's leading accounting and consulting firms.

An authority on the evolution of the accounting profession and the challenges faced by CPAs, John regularly speaks on issues of concern to CPAs. He has been quoted in leading business publications, including The Wall Street Journal, The Wall Street Journal - Europe Edition, The Cleveland Plain Dealer, Bloomberg Business News and virtually every trade publication addressing the CPA profession.

John is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and a former member of the U.S. delegation to the International Accounting Standards Board and the Journal of Accountancy Editorial Advisory Board. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Graduate School of Business at Florida State University

John is a Certified Public Accountant [CPA] and holds a Master of Business Administration [MBA] degree from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of West Florida.

Elizabeth S. Gantnier, CPA

Elizabeth S. Gantnier is a certified public accountant currently serving as a Director of Quality Control for Stegman & Company, a public accounting firm located in Baltimore, MD. She is a former Vice President Finance for a publicly held manufacturing firm in Chesapeake Virginia after having spent ten years with KPMG in the Richmond, VA and Norfolk, VA offices where she was a statistical audit specialist, in-house professional development instructor, and EDP specialist. Additionally, she has been a nationally recognized CPA Review instructor.

Ms. Gantnier has expertise with audits of governments and construction contractors, financial institutions, manufacturers and governmental/not-for-profit entities. She is a highly-rated AICPA instructor on technical, management and personal development topics, and is the author of the AICPA/Professional Development Institute's programs on benchmarking, inventory valuation, auditing in a paperless society and auditing electronic evidence. She has also participated in several AICPA self-study video presentations on fraud, audit standards, and SEC related topics. She is the author and moderator of the AICPA's self-study course on the recent COSO guidance on internal controls over financial reporting for the smaller public company.

Michael Dimitriou, CPA

Michael Dimitriou is a partner with KMPG LLP with over 13 years experience serving clients in the financial services industry, including investment banking, investment management and funds clients. Michael is currently on rotation in KPMG's National Office specializing in financial instruments including derivatives. Mike is originally from KPMG's Chicago Office.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Accounting major.

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill 1963.

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill required an additional fifteen semester hours in connection with the award of an accounting degree and in fulfilling this requirement; Mr. Compton completed the requirements for a concentration in marketing as well as the required accounting courses.

CURRENT ACTIVITIES:
Mr. Compton is managing director of Compton Consulting, LLC, a firm providing professional advice and services to a wide variety of entities. Prior to assuming that position he served as a partner in the Greensboro, North Carolina office of Cherry, Bekaert & Holland, a regional accounting firm with offices throughout the Southeast. He served as that firm's Director of Quality and Compliance for a number of years before his retirement. In addition, he currently serves as the Chairman of the National Banking School at the University of Virginia and is a former member of the Center for Public Company Audit Firms Peer Review Committee of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), a member of the International Auditing Standards Subcommittee of the AICPA, a former member of the Accounting Standards Executive Committee of the AICPA and is the Past-Chair of the Accounting and Review Service Committee of the AICPA, a former member of the Technical Issues Committee of the Private Companies Practice Section of the AICPA, a former member of the Auditing Standards Board of the AICPA, and a former member of the Banking Committee of the AICPA.

Mr. Compton is a regular panelist on the quarterly SEC Update Web cast of the AICPA and writes, produces and appears in the video portion of the AICPA SEC Reporting course. He also currently serves as a member of the Technical Advisory Board for "How to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404, Assessing the Effectiveness of Internal Control" and "The Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 Implementation Toolkit" both published by John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Currently he is providing services to the Center for Public Company Accounting Firms of the AICPA in connection with technical review of peer reviews prior to their acceptance by the Peer Review Committee of the Center.

As Director of Quality, he was responsible for administration and quality control over the Assurance services provided by Cherry, Bekaert & Holland. His responsibilities also included coordination of training within the firm, supervision of assurance engagements that involve firm-wide participation, and coordination of the firm's expansion through mergers and acquisitions of other CPA firms. Mr. Compton's principal area of industry experience is in auditing and consulting services to Financial Institutions and other SEC registrants.

Prior to joining Cherry, Bekaert & Holland in 1970, Mr. Compton was associated with KPMG in its Greenville, South Carolina office and served as Treasurer of Henderson Advertising Agency, Inc., one of the 20 largest agencies in the United States, also located in Greenville. Following his graduation from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, he attended the Naval Officer Candidate School at Newport, Rhode Island and upon graduation; he served as a commissioned officer of the line in the U.S. Navy.

In addition to his Firm and AICPA responsibilities, he recently completed a three-year term as a member of the board of directors of the North Carolina Association of CPA's and a member of the UNC-Chapel Hill Accounting Alumni Advisory Board. In addition, Mr. Compton has served as a board member of All Children's Hospital, Inc., All Children's Foundation, Inc., Suncoast RMH, Inc., Cherry, Bekaert & Holland, LLP, St. Thomas Episcopal Church, and the Charlotte and Orlando Chapters of the Institute of Management Accountants.
