Each exercise presented in the book is also available as an interactive Excel Workbook file (download at clickconsulting.com) so you can follow along in Excel as you read. The exercise workbooks are optional, but recommended for those wanting to practice the skills presented in the book.

Excel Versions:

This text attempts to accommodate users of all versions of Excel through Excel 2007.  For the purposes of this book, references to “Excel 2003” refer to Excel 2003 and prior versions.  The differences between the menu navigation, dialog boxes, and wizards are so small that Excel 2003 screen shots fairly represent prior versions.  Excel 2007 screens are different than 2003, and presented and identified in this text.  When an Excel version is not identified in a screen shot, the screen shot applies to all versions.
