Does your annual report effectively communicate the performance of your company, or has it become a compliance document that must be deconstructed to understand what is important to your audience.
The Report Leadership Group, comprised of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, communications consultancy Radley Yeldar and Tomkins plc, has undertaken the challenge of providing reporting information that is more relevant, informative and accessible within the current GAAP and IFRS models without inundating users with unnecessary detail. This Infocast will focus on the latest developments from the Report Leadership Group.
Companies and investors both see websites as an increasingly useful channel for communicating information and changing legislation is creating new opportunities. This infocast will explore the innovative ideas incorporated by the Report Leadership Group in their example web-based corporate reporting presentation.
Christopher Cox from the SEC has likened many compensation disclosures to PhD dissertations. The Report Leadership group has been consistently told that the reporting of executive compensation needs to be improved and this Infocast will present simple, practical ways in which the reporting of this often emotive subject can be enhanced.
